At SkolaKonnect, we are committed to ensuring a high-quality experience for both students and tutors. However, we understand that there may be situations where a refund is necessary. Below is our refund policy to address such instances.
Eligibility for Refund
A refund may be issued under the following circumstances:
● Non-Delivery of Services:
If a tutor fails to deliver the agreed-upon service within the stipulated time frame.
● Substandard Work:
If the delivered service does not meet the quality standards or requirements specified in the project or job description.
● Technical Issues:
If a payment was processed incorrectly or due to a technical error.
● Cancellation by Tutor:
If the tutor cancels the project or is unable to complete it.
Non-Refundable Scenarios
Refunds will not be issued under these conditions:
● Student Changes Requirements:
If the student alters the project scope or requirements after the tutor has started work.
● Partial Completion:
If a significant portion of the work is completed as per the agreement.
● Dissatisfaction Without Justification:
If a student is dissatisfied with the service without providing specific and valid reasons.
● Late Disputes:
Refund requests submitted more than 7 days after project completion.
Refund Process● Refund Request Submission:
Students must submit a refund request through the Refund Request Form available on the platform.
The request must include:
● Project ID or Job ID● Reason for the refund request● Supporting evidence (e.g., screenshots, chat logs)
Review Period:
Refund requests will be reviewed within 5 business days of submission.
During the review, both the student and tutor will be contacted for clarification if needed.
Approval or Rejection:
If approved, the refund will be processed to the original payment method within 7 business days.
If rejected, the student will receive a detailed explanation of the decision.
Partial Refunds
In some cases, partial refunds may be issued:
If a tutor has completed part of the project and the remaining portion is incomplete or unsatisfactory.
If there was mutual agreement to terminate the project before completion.
Dispute Resolution
If a refund request is disputed:
The matter will be escalated to SkolaKonnect's Resolution Team.
The Resolution Team’s decision will be final and binding.
